INVITES, STATIONERY & ALL PAPER THINGS

outside of ad work, i take on projects where i can combine my type and design skills with my passion to make something by hand.
after spending so much time on a computer, it reinvigorates me to craft something you can actually touch.

for my own wedding, i chose a vertical accordion format that combined bold type with hand-painted watercolors. each of the two washes painted to overlap, synonymous with our lives coming together on this special day. all invites were hand painted so no two were alike.

MOLLY & COLIN’S COLORFUL FLORALS

for my friend molly’s wedding, her only direction was blues and colorful florals to mimic the blue mismatch bridesmaid dresses and farm flowers she had chosen to fill the space with.

while the floral illustrations were sourced and altered, each of the over 100 place cards were custom painted with watercolor washes and attached to each menu.

SHANNON & MIKE’S WINTRY WOODS

for my sister’s december wedding, she wanted greenery and pinecones that fit the season and the rustic wooden touches she would add in decor.

MEAGHAN & KEVIN’S ART DECO

inspired by the historic hotel lafayette venue in buffalo, we decided on a look & feel that felt classic and celebratory with touches of gold.

BRITTANY & MATT’S GOLD BUBBLES

for my friend brittany’s wedding, we went for a stacked accordion invite fastened with a gold eyelet that mimicked the gold confetti element along the bottom edge.
